CT Human Society Donations
In July of 2009, we kicked off a joint program with Advance Mold and Manufacturing to support a social services project in our region. Our Community Project Review Committee meets every month to review the needs of area agencies and human service needs. Every employee is encouraged to participate!
Projects completed in 2009 include:
- Participated in Bowl-a-thon to support St. Jude Charities
- A social services project to clean the home of a local man in need
- Participation in the Hockanum River Clean-Up project
- Bake/tag sale to support Toys for Tots
- Canned food drive for the MACC food pantry in Manchester
- Raised money from an internal bake sale to provide Thanksgiving dinner for families in need in East Hartford and Coventry
2010 include:
- Winter coat and mitten drive to support the One Warm Coat organization
- Collected donations to make Easter Baskets for local children in need
- Collected goods and created care packages for the Military
- Helped in a Habitat for Humanity home construction
- Had a Bake Sale and proceeds bought Thanksgiving Turkeys for families in need.
- Participated in Bowl-a-thon to support St. Jude Charities
- Non-Perishable food drive for Christmas
2011 include:
- Collected Pet Supplies for CT Humane Society
